The Club and its ways...

After experimenting with different tricks and thing to teach, I developed the best methods for the kids to learn. I have created a few different lessons plans which all set out to achieve different results.

Interactive Lessons

Magic is a unique skill, and like anything with time and effort it will get easier. This is why I learnt to teach with a lot of props and objects.

Doing this allowed me to get the children involved with the magic and visually seeing each other do it in their own hands.

This helps understand the illusion and better familiarise themselves with being able to perform to someone.

Creative Exploration

Watching magic is truly amazing, working on tricks and trying them out with other magicians is where a lot of the fun happens.

In these lessons plans I dedicate a good amount of time to letting the magicians use their minds to create different avenues of performing a trick.

Wether it is changing the reveal or using different performance skills to enhance the trick, it always gets the brain ticking and trying to think of another idea.

Performance Opportunities

Within the lessons I teach more than just the trick itself but also how to perform it, and do it well.

I give all the magicians different opportunities to perform for the class. This is great experience and lets us work together.

After I feel the class is ready and would like to take it up a notch, I organise a Performance night for magicians to bring their families and friends to their first real magic show.

Fundamental Skills

Whilst learning magic is fun and exciting, it also comes with a lot of great attributes to take into everyday life.

Within these club sessions it brings a sense of connection between everyone which makes for excellent behaviours and respect amongst each other.

Teaching how to talk and perform to people in different ways can show the magicians empathy and compassion.
